Tackie is designed to keep your creative work on your device. The developer does not collect, transmit, sell, or use personal data for tracking or advertising.
Content you create
Text, style choices, saved notes, and thumbnails are stored locally on your device. When you choose a photo for a photo sticker or text capture, Tackie uses it only to create your note or note artwork. Tackie does not upload that photo or your creative content to the developer.
Photos and camera access
Tackie requests access only when you choose a photo or screenshot, scan text with the camera, or save finished artwork to your photo library. Photo and camera content used for text recognition is processed on your device. You can change these permissions at any time in the Settings app.
On-device text recognition
Tackie uses Apple-provided on-device technologies to recognize text in a photo, screenshot, or camera scan when you request it. This processing does not send your notes or selected images to the developer.
Local storage, widgets, and deletion
Tackie stores saved work and preferences locally using Apple-provided storage frameworks. A limited snapshot of your recent or selected folder notes is shared only with Tackie’s own Home Screen widget extension through its private App Group container. You can delete individual notes in Tackie. Deleting Tackie removes its local app and widget data, subject to Apple’s device backup and restore behavior.
Third-party components
Tackie includes Microsoft Fluent Emoji artwork. This component is bundled with the app and is not used to collect data. Tackie contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
